Call Me Tai Tau (Big Head)

That doggie in that video that kept showing his back side to me, has been given a name.. He's called, Tai Tau, becuz of the size of his Head, lol, the head on top of his neck.... One morning as I got to work , I saw him sleeping on the walkway leading to the office. He's a sound sleeper unlike most stray dogs, because as you walk pass him, he'd remain asleep with eyes closed and all. He's a stray obviously and we found him loitering around our office area for about 6 months now. Totally self sufficient, very playful, and a cutie. This fler had a fight recently and hurt his left paw... that's the reason for this sad face, plus the fact that I have been chasing him around trying to get a good shot... wakakakaka....

ED - Day 5

This is Ed Hill on his 5th day with us. I think he weighed about 4.7kgs then. Already growing accustomed to us, he enjoys a belly rub from Sayang everytime we come by to visit. We were so in a hurry to try out this new body harness/leash thingy we just bought from a pet shop. Couldn't wait to take him out for a walk just outside the house. The first time we brought him out , Ed already shows off his hound instinct, smelling smelling... donno what... Harness loose... Look I got wings !! Aiyoo.. tired oredi.. Come tickle my belly...

Ed Hill more Day 3 Pics

Ed has been the darling of the house ever since he joined the family. He has the most mischievious demeanor, and is intelligent enough to study your facial and verbal expressions. His electrically manjafying gaze can melt anyone. He's got this really lovely posture about him that when he sits down, his two hind legs actually comes up to the front. Cute.... When he is frustated at not being able to touch the camera he rests awhile and plans another sneak attack at the clicking camera.

Day 3 - Ed Hill

Its been 3 days since Ed joined the family. He was then that little shivering little puppy in mom's hands. After only 3 days, his appetite has increased, definitely a massive increase in energy, and adaptation to his new home. Bringing in the brown mat with Jacky's smell definitely paid off. Ed no longer bark at night, and now sleeps beside the brown mat. I guess it must be giving him a sense of security, the softness, and the smell of another dog around him. I think when he is lying down like that on his back , he looks a lot like Scrappy Doo. So Cute... After snapping that picture, he was awakened by the shutter sound. Happy to see me back from he quickly springed from his sleep and greeted me with his wagging tail and happy barks... Thats why I don't like cats... because usually they don't show such enthusiasm, nor affection. In other words, they normally don't give a shit, if you ain't holding a fish in your hand. Sayang came by to say hello and Ed was distracted again. Ok snap a few more shots. This is Ed sitting down like a noble little dog. He hasn't done his cause any bad, because of his well mannered behaviour and his ability to not make noise at night, somewhat helped us to convince Mom , that this fler is really keepable.

My Name is ED

Sir Ed - shivering under Mom's Cuddle.... so cute.......... Mama Jean - was totally not happy to see us there.... Sir Ed's more adventurous sibling, came to check out the camera.... with the rest under the shoe cabinet... This little puppy also walking towards the camera.... attracted by the shutter clicks...... Jacky Girl's Pic...

This blogsite is supposedly the place where I dump all the photos taken from my camera. I bought a 2nd hand Olympus E300 after loosing the little Ricoh I was so growing attached to. After fiddling around with all the new (not quite new isn't it) settings on a DSLR, I thought it would be nice to actually put up these pictures in the form of a blog, so that at least, once in a while I could come back and check on my progress. A blog should be able to do that and organize these pics in a chronological manner. So I could see what I've been doing with the camera. Jacky, the 8 year old puppy coming out from her little house. We had just bought her a new chewy bone for her teeth (she's not getting any younger) and a new cushion for her to sit on. The floor must be cold. She just enjoys sitting on this cushion. (F4, 1/6s, ISO1600) Halfway chewing on the bone, she looks up realizing I am holding my camera shooting away. Had to experiment with taking pictures in low lighting conditions. Notice how noisy the pictures are ? Isn't she just cute.. thats a totally irresistible look. She's been very possessive with what's hers. I.e. the bone is hers, and she will put her paw over it, should you come near the bone. Energy burnt off, after having a ball of a time chewing the bone. Keeping the bone away from my prying hands. She realized that I was just gonna fiddle with the clicking black thing. She also rests for awhile.
